The Plastic Surgery Hyperguide is a peer-reviewed Web site. The peer review board is called the Education Committee, which is chaired by Donald R. Mackay, DDS, MD, FRCS, FCS (SA), FACS, FAAP, and associate coordinator, John Mesa, MD. The Education Committee is composed of twelve to fifteen renowned plastic surgeon peer reviewers. Vindico forwards edited tutorials to Dr. Mackay to determine its suitability for publication on the Hyperguide, and to appoint two peer reviewers to review the content. Vindico forwards peer reviewers feedback to the author, and arranges for posting on the Hyperguide Test Site. Both the author and Dr. Thaller have an opportunity to review the content a final time prior to live publication to the Hyperguide.
